LOCATION: Remote working considered for experienced Sales professional
Our client is looking for a Sales Manager with a first class background in chemistry to manage sales of chemicals across a range of manufacturing industries. Our client is successful, specialist chemical distribution company with a diverse portfolio of specialty chemicals and additives. You will have strong academic credentials in Chemistry or Material Sciences and/or experience in technical selling to a wide variety of customers in the chemical industry. The role will require a significant amount of new business development with customers.
Following comprehensive training in the technical as well as commercial aspects of the role the main responsibilities will be:
Identifying and gaining new business in process chemicals, animal feed and CASE markets
Maintaining and developing strong relationships with our business partners
Setting priorities and keeping track of customer projects
Working closely with Internal Support and other members of the Sales Team
Candidate Profile
Experience technically selling to the chemical industry, ideally in process chemicals, animal feed and CASE.
A 2:1 BSc or higher in Chemistry or related field, or relevant industrial experience
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Full UK driving licence
The successful candidate will receive extensive training and will benefit from an attractive salary and benefits package including a company car. Depending on the experience of the successful candidate we will consider remote working from a home office.
