Technical Sales Manager – Personal Care - UK

Our client is a well-established distributor of specialty chemicals, supplying customers across the UK and Europe. With an extensive product range, they are now seeking a Technical Sales Manager to oversee the UK territory for their Personal Care division. This remote role is suited to a commercially driven professional with a solid technical background and experience in the specialty chemicals industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and strengthen customer relationships across all relevant market sectors
Identify and develop new business opportunities
Maintain a healthy pipeline of projects in line with supplier expectations
Represent and promote the full product portfolio of personal care products
Conduct regular customer visits and virtual meetings
Attend internal sales meetings
Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
Occasional European travel for supplier meetings
Candidate Requirements:
Proven track record in technical sales within the specialty chemicals sector
Knowledge of the UK specialty chemicals industry and the personal care market sector
Comfortable presenting technical products and solutions to both commercial and technical stakeholders
Must be willing to travel and stay overnight as needed
Self-motivated, organised, and proactive in managing territory and time
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Valid UK driving licence
Must have the right to work in the UK, sponsorship is not available.
