​LOCATION: Office based in Staffordshire / Hybrid working

Exciting opportunity to join a growing business unit focused on the personal care sector working with household names. Our client is a long-established speciality chemicals distributor and represents leading chemical manufacturers from across Europe, the USA and Asia. They already have a portfolio of additives and specialty pigments and are looking to diversity the product range in addition to building the customer base.

They require a highly-motivated individual with experience of technical selling to the Personal Care market. The role will involve both technical and commercial selling, including new business development, therefore the ideal candidate with have not only a good technical understanding but also excellent relationships with customers in these markets.

Responsibilities

  • Nurturing new and existing customers to grow sales in the UK market for Personal Care

  • Developing a healthy opportunity pipeline in order to achieve sales targets

  • Maintaining and developing strong relationships with our Principals

  • Identifying areas for growth and diversification within our product portfolio

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience in technical selling to the UK Personal Care market

  • 2:1 BSc or higher in Chemistry or related field, or relevant industrial experience

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Full UK driving licence

  • You must have the right to work in the UK, sponsorship is not available.

The role will be based primarily at offices in Staffordshire and hybrid work will also be considered. The role will involve significant UK and occasional international travel, as well as the opportunity to work with some of the leading names in the chemical industry.
