Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to sales and business development. You will be responsible for identifying and capitalising on current & new business opportunities, driving sustainable revenue growth, and cultivating long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Identify key target markets, analyse industry trends, and formulate strategies to capitalise on market opportunities.
Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and market research. Expand the customer base and develop long-term partnerships.
Take initiative in exploring untapped markets, innovative sales channels, and strategic collaborations to increase revenue streams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients by understanding their needs, offering tailored solutions, and providing excellent customer service.
Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a high performance and entrepreneurial culture. Provide training, set goals, and monitor performance to ensure consistent results.
Negotiate and close high-value deals with a consultative sales approach, ensuring competitive pricing and profitability. Manage contract discussions and agreements with clients.
Monitor sales performance, analyse key metrics, and prepare regular reports for management. Utilize CRM tools to track customer interactions, pipeline, and forecasting.
Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales strategies, improve product positioning, and enhance service offerings.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, identify strengths and weaknesses of competitors, and leverage insights to refine sales approaches.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads.
Act as a liaison between clients and product development teams, gathering feedback and identifying areas for product or service improvements.
Ensure sales targets and profitability margins are met while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Develop pricing strategies that align with market trends and business goals.
Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Maintain thorough documentation of agreements and transactions.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field or minimum 5 year experience in sales.
Proven experience in sales management, business development, or a similar leadership role.
Track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and act on business opportunities.
Highly proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Experience in one or more of the following industries: Personal Care, Industrial, or Health & Nutrition is preferred
