Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to sales and business development. The ideal candidate will bring a high level of initiative and a proven track record of success in the Personal Care, Industrial, or Health & Nutrition industries. This is a strategic leadership role suited for a self-motivated individual who thrives in fast-paced environments. You will be responsible for identifying and capitalising on current & new business opportunities, driving sustainable revenue growth, and cultivating long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Identify key target markets, analyse industry trends, and formulate strategies to capitalise on market opportunities.

  • Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and market research. Expand the customer base and develop long-term partnerships.

  • Take initiative in exploring untapped markets, innovative sales channels, and strategic collaborations to increase revenue streams.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients by understanding their needs, offering tailored solutions, and providing excellent customer service.

  • Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a high performance and entrepreneurial culture. Provide training, set goals, and monitor performance to ensure consistent results.

  • Negotiate and close high-value deals with a consultative sales approach, ensuring competitive pricing and profitability. Manage contract discussions and agreements with clients.

  • Monitor sales performance, analyse key metrics, and prepare regular reports for management. Utilize CRM tools to track customer interactions, pipeline, and forecasting.

  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales strategies, improve product positioning, and enhance service offerings.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, identify strengths and weaknesses of competitors, and leverage insights to refine sales approaches.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads.

  • Act as a liaison between clients and product development teams, gathering feedback and identifying areas for product or service improvements.

  • Ensure sales targets and profitability margins are met while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Develop pricing strategies that align with market trends and business goals.

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Maintain thorough documentation of agreements and transactions.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field or minimum 5 year experience in sales.

  • Proven experience in sales management, business development, or a similar leadership role.

  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and act on business opportunities.

  • Highly proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor teams.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales automation tools.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

  • Experience in one or more of the following industries: Personal Care, Industrial, or Health & Nutrition is preferred

  • Existing network of industry contacts and relationships would be beneficial
