Summary of Role

A great opportunity to join a growing organisation backed by a major European chemical supplier. You will be part of a small sales team acquiring new business opportunity and providing support to existing customers. You will need excellent communication and telephone skills with commercial and customer facing experience. You will be trained on the CRM and their extensive product range. An experience of CASE is not essential, but would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively sourcing new sales opportunities through cold-calling and emailing.

  • Developing and maintaining long-lasting relationships with existing customers through exceptional after-sales service.

  • Developing in-depth knowledge of product features and benefits.

  • Utilizing virtual meetings to build relationships with new customers.

  • Processing customers' purchase orders and liaising with product management to check stock availability and the logistics department to ensure the timely delivery of ordered products.

  • Advising customers on suitable product selection based on their needs and specifications.

  • Creating a sales pipeline to accurately reflect the relative placement of sales prospects in the purchasing process.

  • Following up on sales inquiries that are made by potential customers through website chats, emails, and inbound calls.

Required skills:

  • Experience in a sales role (2-3 years) with a track record of sales success

  • Ability to work from the office Tuesday to Thursday

  • Selling, Presenting and Negotiation

  • The ability to meet deadlines and deliver targets

  • Customer Focus and Relationship skills

  • Data/reports analysis to understand performance and identify opportunities vs key KPI’s

  • Ability to deliver projects and respond to enquiries in a timely manner

  • Financially minded with a problem-solving “can do” attitude

  • Competent use tools and systems. Specific experience using SAP and a CRM is preferable but not essential. Must be proficient in excel.

  • Chemicals background is preferable but again not essential.
