You will need good colour vision and experience working with paints, inks or coloured coatings and using a spectrophotometer as well as equipment such as mixers and spray equipment.

Use laboratory test and evaluation devices, bench mixers, manual and automatic spray equipment including the application of paint with the use of a conventional hand spray gun or with the use of a paint robot

Once a laboratory adjustment to a colour has been proven the Colour Matcher would be expected to adjust the larger production batch, where they will be required to operate manufacturing equipment including paint mixing dispersers and tanks.

You will be required to work within different environments within the plant, including laboratory, production areas and spray rooms, where a flexible approach will be required as each of the areas represent a requirement for the Colour Matcher to adopt different skill sets.

Working in accordance with existing Standard Operations, where there will be a requirement to review previous paint adjustment documentation, record their progress with regard any adjustments made to the paint, and complete customer sub-mission documentation.
