Our client is a growing European chemical manufacturer, they are seeking an experienced sales professional to support UK customers in a range of industries including cosmetics, personal care, household and industrial detergents and plastics (masterbatch) industries. The product portfolio is wide and varied and includes propriety products and will require a good technical applications knowledge.

Key Tasks:

  • The candidate will promote the sale of products and services for UK.

  • He/she will ensure consistent and profitable growth of the revenues by planning sales strategies and identifying target clients and objectives.

  • The candidate will thus be responsible of developing the market of his/her referred area by directly visiting clients.

Responsibilities:

  • To foster the sale of the Company's products in the assigned area, ensuring the products' technical approval by the local customers;

  • To enhance customers’ satisfaction by providing a quality service to customers, including the provision of sound technical advice, covering the formulation of a wide range of chemical products;

  • To identify development plans, supported by adequate actions;

  • To promote sales and supply contracts;

  • To take care of the customers and commercial partners on a constant basis, in compliance with the executed agreements;

  • To attend trade fairs following instructions given by the Company's management;

  • To ensure an effective technical support in promoting and introducing new products to the Company's customers;

  • To ensure an efficient coverage of the assigned area and customers, through periodical visits.

Candidate Profile:

  • Several years of sales experience in the following industrial applications: cosmetics & personal care, household and industrial detergents, plastics (masterbatch) industries;

  • Qualified to Degree level in Chemistry, Chemical Engineer or similar educational background

  • Candidates must live in the UK and have the right to work here. Sponsorship is not available.

  • Full UK driving license

  • Excellent written and spoken English required, additional European languages would be an advantage.

  • Willingness to travel in UK and Europe. Overnight stays may be required.
