The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced, relationship‑focused Regional Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across Southern Europe. Based in Belgium or Switzerland, you will lead the expansion of automated genotyping, and microbiome services across key academic and research institutions.

This is a high‑impact, field‑based role where your consultative sales expertise directly contributes to accelerating scientific discovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic regional sales plan to drive both short‑ and long‑term growth.

  • Build new customer relationships while expanding adoption within existing accounts.

  • Promote core offerings including Automated Genotyping and Microbiome solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with Regional Account Managers and internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

  • Represent the company at leading national and European research and industry events.

  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline activity in Salesforce.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Fluent in French (mandatory) with strong English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage

  • 5–10 years of field sales experience in Life Sciences, or related technical fields.

  • Proven success selling into the French market.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth across the full customer lifecycle - from lead generation to long‑term retention.

  • Experience managing a multi‑country European territory, with strong understanding of diverse market dynamics.

  • Cross‑cultural commercial skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across Europe.

  • Strong track record in territory planning, forecasting, and accountability.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related discipline.

  • Solid understanding of laboratory environments and research customer needs.

  • Willingness to travel across Europe up to 60%, with no visa restrictions.

Compensation & Rewards

  • Base salary: €85,000–€105,000 (location and experience dependent).

  • Variable compensation: Target commissions of €34,000 annually, with upside for overachievement.
