​Location: Home based with some travel

Our client is a leading Consultancy providing strategic sustainability advice and guidance to companies around the world. The Sustainability team manages a number of consortia and acts as an European and UK Only Representative as well as supporting clients throughout the supply chain in their use of chemicals and the opportunities and risks that brings. They are seeking a regulatory & sustainability professional to support the technical work required to meet on-going requirements of REACH and similar regulations globally.

Key Responsibilities

·Support clients in their chemical regulatory strategy development, with particular reference to REACH registration

·Delivery to meet compliance requirements predominantly, but not limited to REACH processes

·Support the business in integrating Sustainable Chemistry into the wider sustainability agenda

·Assist the business in structuring its technical resources in the Sustainable Chemistry area

·There may be an opportunity to explore the potential for involvement in team management

Key Requirements

·Professional required with at least 5 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship in the industrial chemicals sector.

·Must have science degree (preferably chemistry) with experience of working with technically complex products and the regulatory environment in which they are sold and used.

·Experience of managing multiple projects/clients.

·Experienced in REACH registration including experienced IUCLID user and preferably experience in modelling analogues (QSAR) and exposure (e.g. Chesar, ECETOC TRA, etc.), but other REACH experience welcomed.

·Work well with a wide range of people on a global basis;

·Proactive with the ability and confidence to use initiative

·Experience of the consultancy sector would be a further advantage.
