Location: Home-based to cover the South East
Our client is a trusted name in the distribution of specialty chemicals across the UK and Europe. With a broad portfolio serving markets such as Coatings, Adhesives & Sealants, Polymers, Inks, Construction, and more, they are now seeking a Technical Sales Manager to cove the South East. This is a home-based role ideal for a driven, technically competent sales professional with experience in chemicals or related sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow existing customer relationships across all relevant market sectors
Identify and develop new business opportunities
Maintain a healthy pipeline of projects in line with supplier expectations
Represent and promote the full product portfolio of products including additives, pigments, polymers and performance materials.
Conduct regular customer visits and virtual meetings to discuss technical solutions and drive sales
Attend internal sales meetings and occasional European supplier meetings
Stay current with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
Candidate Requirements:
Proven track record in technical sales, ideally within the specialty chemicals sector
Knowledge of the UK specialty chemicals industry and our clients key markets: Coatings, Adhesives, Polymers, Inks, Construction, etc.
Comfortable discussing technical products and solutions with both commercial and technical stakeholders
Based within the sales region preferred; otherwise must be willing to travel extensively and stay overnight as needed
Self-motivated, organised, and proactive in managing territory and time
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Valid UK driving licence
Must have the right to work in the UK, sponsorship is not available.
