Fantastic opportunity with is a leading manufacturer of pigment dispersions (liquid colour concentrates) and a distributor of pigments, fillers and speciality chemicals. They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, energetic and driven Technical Manager to join their team. No day will be the same, you will provide innovative solutions for a diverse range of customers in the coatings and inks industry. You will be responsible for new product development projects and managing the comprehensive ranges of pigment dispersions that the company manufactures. Supporting the application in which they are used as well as the ongoing development of these ranges.
If you are a Senior Chemist, looking for career progression, our client will provide full training and support to develop into the Technical Manager.
Responsibilities:
Providing solutions for customers with short and long term projects for new product development
Overall technical responsibility for Water-Based and Solvent-Based Pigment Dispersions
Raw Material selection & Testing
Identify new technologies to be used in pigments dispersions and milling.
Customer Application Support
Qualifications:
Experience of Milling and Dispersing Pigments into either Water-Based or Solvent-Based Pigment Concentrates, Coatings or Inks.
Technical and Application knowledge of either Coatings, Inks and associated Industries
Understanding of Organic & Inorganic Pigments, their colour properties and applications.
