​Location: Multi-site in Essex & London with some hybrid working

Exciting Supply Chain Planning Manager opportunity with an innovative manufacturer of Beauty, Skincare & Cosmetics. Our client has a strong track record of manufacturing top-tier private label and branded products with significant investment for expansion. This is a newly created position as part of a dynamic management team, and is a key role in executing all planning activity from project inception, inventory and resource management, production, technical, quality, procurement and delivery of finished products. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Key Tasks

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.

  • Oversee the planning and execution of production schedules to meet customer demands.

  • Establish and manage project timelines, milestones, and budgets to achieve project objectives within set parameters.

  • Monitor inventory levels and demand forecasts to optimise inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with production, Technical, QA and procurement teams to ensure seamless operations.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and resolve supply chain issues.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Technical, production, quality assurance, procurement and warehouse) to develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with client specifications and company standards.

  • Coordinate with external stakeholders to understand their requirements, manage expectations, and provide regular updates on project progress.

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Prepare and present reports on project status and project updates to senior stakeholders.

  • Forecast and track account metrics, including revenue and profitability, and other KPIs.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration or a related field.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and planning software.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
