Are you an experienced chemical sales professional or product manager looking to progress your career? We have an exciting role with a global chemical distributor. Office based with some home working, you will support the Senior Product Manager for the sales of specialty chemicals and additives. You will be part of a lively and professional commercial team with an established portfolio of products and customers. Lots of opportunity for career development.
Responsibilities:
To monitor and grow sales in the UK & Ireland
To help formulate strategy within the relevant lines of business within the UK and rest of Europe
To foster excellent relations with suppliers and customers
To provide commercial and technical support to UK account managers
To negotiate purchase and sales contracts with suppliers and customers
To balance the supply and demand of products and manage the logistics
To monitor customer service, technical and product requirements
To support the development of new distributorships
Candidate Profile
Be a self-motivated individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills in all environments
Have some sales or product management experience in the distribution of specialty materials and additives across the various business sectors
Be IT literate having a working knowledge of Microsoft Applications, ERP and CRM systems.
Strong analytical skills - ability to analyse, manipulate, interpret, and present data
Have a strong attention to detail, identifying and proactively highlighting any data discrepancies
Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and to prioritise accordingly.
Be a team worker with a friendly manner.
