Location: Europe - Hybrid with UK HQ and Global manufacturing sites
Global manufacturer has a newly created role, Quality Manager, to oversee quality for sites around the globe. You will develop a global quality map and lead the continuous improvement program across the organisation. They are focused on ethical and sustainable manufacturing and production of high quality products. The successful candidate will be experienced in managing quality systems in a chemical manufacturing organisation, ideally with knowledge of the production of resins or polymers.
As the Quality expert for the organisation, you will focus on the follow key areas:
Develop the Group Quality plan & roadmap, manage and proactively lead activities to ensure continuous improvement in Quality across the whole organisation
Develop and lead the introduction of Group policies and systems to support the roadmap and activities, standardising across the organisation
Lead internal and major external audit programmes and ensure appropriate follow up, closure of actions and improvement programmes, liaising with the quality teams on the sites and other impacted functions
Develop and initiate awareness training programmes across the organisation for Quality
Candidate Profile
Detailed Knowledge of global quality management systems
A degree in a scientific or engineering discipline (or equivalent knowledge gained through experience)
At least 10 years’ experience of managing quality systems and functions in a chemicals or polymer manufacturing organisation
Leadership experience is essential
