Field Sales Representative – UK (Remote) for precision castings
Our client supplies the precision casting industry with materials that are integral to the manufacturing of aerospace quality castings. They operate a just in time delivery service of materials with the highest quality, recognising the process expectations of their customers in manufacturing, health & safety and logistical support. We are seeking a driven, proactive Field Sales Representative to support and grow their customer base across the United Kingdom and Europe. The role combines sales leadership with technical support, working closely with customers across the investment casting industry with a focus on ceramic and polymer waxes. The successful candidate will manage key accounts, conduct regular customer visits, support technical evaluations, and represent our product portfolio with professionalism and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Sales
Manage and grow a portfolio of UK-based customer accounts within the casting sector. Occasional travel to Europe and USA will be required.
Develop strong, long-term customer relationships through regular communication and on-site visits.
Identify new business opportunities, generate sales leads, report market trends and review competitor activity.
Prepare and deliver commercial proposals, quotations, and pricing discussions in line with company strategy.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
Technical Support & Evaluations
Support customers with technical evaluation, application guidance and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with internal technical teams to coordinate product trials, performance analyses, and customer feedback.
Provide product training to customers, distributors, and internal colleagues as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
Proven sales experience in paints, chemicals, coatings, foundry, or allied industrial sectors.
Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn the specifics of precision casting consumables.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in person and remotely.
Demonstrated ability to build meaningful customer relationships and influence decision-makers.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK and Europe.
Right to work in the UK, our client cannot support visa sponsorship.
Preferred
Background in industrial field sales, technical service or application engineering.
Experience conducting product trials or technical demonstrations.
Understanding of precision casting, surface coatings, investment casting or related manufacturing processes.
