Our client is a long established manufacturing company with a reputation for excellence. They have an exciting opportunity to expand the Colour-shop team with an experienced colour matcher to work as a Colour-shop Technician.
Main responsibilities:
To prepare coating mixes, and carry out quality control on these mixes, before and during coating.
Ensure that all batches are colour matched to standards.
Maintain appropriate QC records.
Maintain Colour-shop housekeeping.
Cover, when required, for the on-site effluent plant.
Adhere to Health & Safety Regulations.
Successful candidate:
Colour matching experience.
Coating/troubleshooting experience (not essential, training will be given).
Good numeric and literacy skills, basic computer skills.
Able to prioritise and manage own workload.
Comfortable lifting up to 25kgs.
Flexibility.
Working Hours:
This position is offered on a two-shift basis, Monday to Friday 06:00 – 14:00, Monday to Thursday 14:00 to 00:00 on a rotating schedule. Overtime is not guaranteed but there is opportunity for extended hours when workloads permit.
