Exciting opportunity for a Chemistry Graduate to start a career in regulatory affairs with full training and mentoring you will become the company regulatory expert. Our client is a leading UK distributor for a range of speciality chemicals to other businesses in a specific range of industry sectors- the products include paints, inks, adhesives, thermoplastics, fragrances and flavours.
This technical demanding role will requires you to apply your chemistry degree. You will need exceptional communication skills and ability to be an effective team player. Expertise in Excel and language skills will be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
Main point of contact in the office for technical queries from customers about regulatory requests.
Range of administrative tasks including keeping products regulations up-to-date (MSDS & TDS), learning new regulations (UK REACH and new Plastic Packaging Tax) and assisting with other parts of the business.
You will a high level of chemical knowledge to communicate with customers and other team members to ensure that any regulatory issues are solved.
Candidate profile:
Degree in Chemistry is essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advance user of Excel
Must have the right to work in the UK and live with a short commute of the office
