An exciting Opportunity for an aspiring Chemicals Distribution Manager to take on a global role. You will be managing our client's worldwide Distributor network to propel sales, and develop new markets. Global Distribution Manager, UK location with global travel
Key Responsibilities:
Champion the promotion and sales of our client's proprietary own-brand largely Personal Care products product offering within their Distributor network.
Embrace extensive globe-travel as an integral part of the role.
Own the responsibility for managing key accounts, serving as the crucial intermediary between the company and its network of distributors.
Cultivate and nurture prospects for the client's proprietary product portfolio, which may encompass the introduction of novel products or Principal partnerships.
Actively engage with customers to provide technical and commercial insights, converting inquiries into business.
Skilfully manage multiple queries and follow-ups concurrently, each with its unique time frames and resolutions.
Evaluate and relay feedback on distributor performance to ensure seamless alignment with the product spectrum.
Strategically plan and execute customer visits and territory management, with product presentations, meticulous record-keeping, participation in trade expos, conferences, sales meetings, and training sessions.
Internal Sales and Business Development:
Forge and action robust sales strategies.
Manage the Customer Relationship Management database.
Develop reports, presentations, forecasts, and data for both internal and external consumption.
Work with the marketing team to support the organisation of seminars and webinars.

Required Skills and Qualities:
A minimum of 5 years in sales in the personal care industry, spotlighting networking skills and face-to-face meetings.
A least 3 years in leadership roles, adept at managing cross-regional teams and individuals, and a proven track record of driving sales growth in the relevant markets.
Cosmetics formulation experience.
Chemistry degree or relevant experience.
Exhibit an understanding of business operations and hands-on commercial acumen.
Adaptable and confident in presenting to customers and colleagues.
Forward-thinking and willing to face and resolve problems.
Thrive in collaborative team settings.
Personable, with an efficient and customer-centric demeanour, whether in physical meetings or on line interactions.
Exemplary organisational skills and self-motivation.
At ease with substantial international travel requirements.
Adept communicator, fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Holder of a valid UK driving license.
