Location: Southern UK – Home based
Our client is a globally recognised speciality pigments manufacturer. They have an exciting new opening for the Southern UK territory account manager. Reporting to the UK sales manager you will be responsible for maintaining and increasing revenue within your territory. You will represent a single point of contact for all sales and technical related matters and ensure continued sales growth of their portfolio.
Skills:
You are someone who has a background in the pigments and additives industry, both with a technical background and a well developed sales background plus a competitive drive for success.

Strong interpersonal skills both internally and externally
Excellent verbal and written communication
Well developed technical skills including fluency in related Industrial applications and technology
You will have excellent follow up and organisational skills
You are reliable and willing to persevere with great problem-solving acumen
A self-starter and self-motivated
Some experience with CRM software and MS Office is an advantage
Duties
Manage existing Customers as primary interface for all customer needs
Identify new customer and product supply opportunities
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of products and services according to customer requirements and objectives
Feedback on account status and progress throughout the year
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Expected on the road 4 days a week.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in technical/scientific subject.
At least 3 years' experience as an account manager or in a forward facing sales role
you must have the right to work in the UK. No sponsorship is available.
