Home based in the UK​

This is a great career development opportunity with a leading chemical distribution company. We are looking for an Account Manager to join their Personal Care team. You will have technical or commercial experience in the Personal Care or Cosmetics industry with a passion for working with innovative developers and manufacturers.

Key Tasks:

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities and business development

  • Building, managing and converting the sales pipeline

  • Working with customers and the sales and finance teams to agree and set terms of trade

  • Grow existing Customer spends, improve profitability, and develop the sales product portfolio

  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding the budgets of the Business Unit

  • Ensuring compliance with Company, national and international legislation and statutory law

Candidate Profile:

  • Sales or sales support experience in the cosmetics or personal care industries.

  • A science degree or SCS diploma would be preferable with relevant technical experience.

  • You will be an effective team member who is self motivated and driven to meet targets.

  • You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

  • A UK driving license is essential and you will be required to travel with overnight stays.

  • You must have a current right to work in the UK - no sponsorship is available.
