Location: Home based in UK
Our client is an international supplier of chemicals, due to continued growth they are looking for an account manager to join the coatings and inks business unit to develop new business and secure current business within the UK and Ireland.
Responsibilities:
To develop a sales strategy in line with budget expectations
To monitor and grow sales in UK & Ireland
Identifying and seeking new customers
Developing and managing a comprehensive product portfolio
To handle product enquiries and business opportunities
To monitor sales, ensuring that the correct level of profitability is maintained
To ensure that all price increases are implemented on time, and following our processes
To seek and follow through new business opportunities at accounts, and prioritise these accordingly
Ideal Candidate:
Must have a strong commercial background, ideally gained through experience within the UK and Ireland Coatings and Inks market
Be able to organize and attend customer visits
Be driven by the need to achieve sales growth and have a persistent approach when faced with difficulties and challenges
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to adapt to a range of personality types.
Good organizational and time management skills
Be IT literate having a working knowledge of Microsoft Applications and CRM systems
Be self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working remotely
Must have the right to work is the UK sponsorship is not available
Home based - national travel and must have a UK driving license
