Location: North Manchester / Lancashire
Are you a Laboratory Technician or Quality Control Technician with a colour background? We have an exciting role to join a long established and prestigious manufacturer. Based at the manufacturing site North of Manchester, you will join the team to manufacture a range of pigment dispersions.
The wide ranging role involves quality control testing of raw materials and pigment dispersions. You may carry out some development work, with support from the Technical Manager.
Responsibilities:
Testing of raw materials and water-based and solvent-based pigment dispersions.
Development of pigment dispersions – training provided.
Assisting with customer inquiries and problem solving
Supporting the production team.
Candidate Profile:
Experience pigments / paints / coatings or inks would be of benefit.
Good colour vision.
Experience of working in a QC laboratory is essential.
Attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records.
