Location: Home based, with regular visits to the office & customers

​​Our client stands as a forefront provider of premium brand paints and coatings supplying contractors, architects, engineers and designers. Owing to sustained expansion, they are actively seeking a dynamic sales professional to grow the business.The manager will be responsible for identifying, prioritising, and securing Trade Commercial projects for the decorative paints division. This will involve engaging with customer stakeholders from architects and interior designers to main contractors and industry professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling value propositions for products.

  • Present company to major architects to secure products in building projects across the board.

  • Complete submittals for contractors and builders.

  • Oversee tender process.

  • Engage and influence key decision makers to ensure products continue to be preferred above all others.

  • Ensure products as seen as the leaders in sustainability by stakeholders through the use of new and available assets to promote our position as the go to organisation in this area.

  • Provide high quality consultancy for specific projects.

  • Give coaching/guidance to colleagues and customers on relevant coatings solutions.

  • Ensure that the company remains compliant with all legislation.

  • Continuously build knowledge and understanding of relative markets.

 Candidate Profile

  • Experience in direct sales of a technical construction products.

  • Technically competent in construction methods/standards including delivering CPD presentations to clients.

  • Familiar with preparing specification documentation and use of CRM systems and records. Have excellent computer skills.

  • Existing relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Able to build strong relationships with architects, specifiers & key influencers in the sector.

  • Effective communication influencing & people skills.

  • Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.

  • You must have the right to work in Ireland and hold valid driving license.
