The organisation is fast growing, and with the UK division delivering exceptional results, they are now launching a new personal care portfolio and require an experienced commercial professional to lead this initiative. This is a key strategic position requiring an experienced and entrepreneurial UK Sales Manager to launch and develop the personal care portfolio from the ground up, driving long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a UK sales strategy focused on the personal care market.
Launch and grow a new personal care product portfolio, building sales from zero.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across key personal care segments
Build strong relationships with customers, including formulators, manufacturers, and brand owners.
Strengthen relationships with existing principals and identify new supplier partnerships aligned with the personal care strategy.
Act as the main UK contact for customers and suppliers
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to negotiation and account development.
Attend sales meetings, and supplier training as required.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a high level of service, communication, and technical support.
Candidate Profile
Proven sales or business development experience within personal care ingredients or speciality chemicals for personal care applications.
Strong understanding of the UK personal care market, including key customers, trends, and product categories.
Experience launching new products, portfolios, or market segments is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to build new business and grow revenue over time.
Ideally able to introduce new principals or contribute ideas for expanding the supplier portfolio.
Excellent communicator with strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and commercially driven with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to wider business objectives.
Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are essential.
