Part Time (Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday) - Office Based in Dartford

 

Merritt Recruitment is seeking an experienced and proactive Recruitment Administrator to support our consultants across the business. This role is central to keeping our recruitment processes running smoothly and delivering an excellent experience to both clients and candidates. You will be highly organised, confident communicating on the phone, and comfortable working with databases, research, and interview coordination.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and maintaining candidate databases, ensuring data accuracy and GDPR compliance

  • Conducting market, client and candidate research to support recruitment projects

  • Speaking with candidates by phone to gather information and support the recruitment process

  • Coordinating and scheduling interviews between candidates and clients

  • Supporting consultants with administrative tasks across multiple vacancies

  • Assisting with CV formatting, job adverts, and candidate communications

  • General office administration to support a small, collaborative team

 

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in database management (recruitment, CRM or similar systems)

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within a recruitment or HR function

  • Strong research skills and attention to detail

  • Confident and professional communicator, comfortable speaking on the phone

  • Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple tasks

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

  • Recruitment or HR professional background desirable, but not essential
